SAKUNA Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Sakuna stores only what you provide or generate by playing:

• Account: your display name, email address, and password (passwords are securely hashed — we never see them).
• Gameplay data: your simulation profile ("Twin"), simulation runs, decisions, scores, in-app progress, and settings.
• Leaderboards (optional): if you join a leaderboard, your chosen display name and score are visible to other players. You may use any display name.
• Subscription status: managed by RevenueCat to unlock paid features. We never receive or store your payment-card details — Apple handles all payments.
• Invite code (optional): if you enter a referral code at sign-up, your account is linked to that partner so they can be credited.
• Notification token (optional): only if you enable reminders, used to deliver them.
• Basic diagnostics: anonymous, aggregated usage and crash events to improve the app. These contain no personal content.

We do not collect your contacts, browsing history, precise location, or any data you did not provide.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Sakuna does not collect or process health or fitness data, location/GPS, photos, microphone or camera input, or sensitive personal information. The app contains no advertising, no advertising identifier (IDFA), and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Your data is stored in a secure Supabase database protected by row-level security — only your own account can read your data. Not other users, not our staff, not third parties. All connections are encrypted in transit over HTTPS/TLS.

4. Who Sees It

Nobody but you. We do not sell, rent, share, or use your personal data for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers. We use a small number of service providers solely to operate the app — Supabase (database & authentication) and RevenueCat (subscription management) — and they process data only to provide their service.

5. Tracking & Advertising

Sakuna does not track you. The app does not use the advertising identifier, does not display ads, and does not link your data with third-party data for advertising. Because of this, the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
